Real Wedding : Christina and William

Christina and William had been engaged and planning their Dallas wedding for two years. So, you can only imagine that, when the big day finally came around, there wasn’t a detail left untouched. Both the ceremony and reception were held at the Milestone, a grand white mansion in Denton, Texas. The lush, 15 acre estate held the perfect backdrop for the couple’s Tuscan style wedding.

Christina and William were always sure on one thing; they didn’t want a traditionally styled wedding, but a whimsical and modern one. Rather than taking the conventional route of colored bridesmaid’s dress, Christina chose to have her ladies in all-white gowns. While many people would be afraid of the white dresses subtracting attention from the bride, the bride’s shimmery and bedazzled Lazaro Perez gown wasn’t one to be overshadowed.

When it was time to cut the cake, guests were excited to find that there was not just one, but three tiered cakes. When the couple simply could not decide on one cake flavor, they were presented with an option they couldn’t refuse. Following the motto “Life is too short not to eat cake,” they decided to do just that with three separate cakes: lemon blackberry, chocolate salted caramel, and strawberry.

Their romantic Tuscan evening was spent surrounded by friends and family, and just goes to show that sometimes a little extra waiting and planning pays off.
