Dallas Spring Date Ideas

Going out to eat or a movie is a great way to spend time with your significant other, but it can so easily become repetitive. Getting active with that special person in your life is a perfect way to switch it up.

Dallas Arboretum

The Arboretum is a botanical garden in Dallas that always has events going on. Their most famous one in the spring is Dallas Blooms which features thousands of colorful flowers that you can walk through. This year the theme is World of Flowers, where they feature traditional flowers from a different country each week.

Klyde Warren Park

This park is an amazing find right in Downtown Dallas. This park is on top of a freeway and is set in between the Dallas Museum of Art and the Federal Reserve. Grab a blanket, take-out, and a bottle of wine and have a picnic on the greens! Maybe even bring a football to throw around!

Speed Zone and Johnny Rockets

Take it back old school with an arcade and milkshake date night. Speed zone has different outside race tracks to race go carts or bumper cars. Inside you’ll find dozens of classic arcade games complete with a prize booth where you can spend those hard-earned tickets. Finish off your night with a burger, fries, and milkshake from the Johnny Rockets attached.

White Rock Lake

Try your hand at kayaking or hiking at White Rock Lake! Whether you’re a complete outdoorsman or prefer your outdoors to involve a beach, White Rock has something for you. There are so many fun activities to do there. I would highly suggest the kayaking though. It can seem daunting at first, but it is so fun and, not to mention, a great workout.
