Come join some of Dallas’ luxury vendors for a shoot out to promote inclusivity in the wedding market! This will be the first of many shootouts to show a love for all!
The Shoot out is open to all skill levels, film and digital photographers and includes 2+ hours of shooting time. All that is required for you to bring is your camera gear and a positive, creative mindset. We will take care of the rest!
Attendees will have the opportunity to interact, pose and work with the models and designs created. Allowing you to push yourself creatively without the added pressure of paid client expectations.
To allow each photographer the opportunity to capture all elements of the shoot in a relaxed environment, there will be stations setup that the attendees will move through in intimate groups.
The Models: Professional models of color posing as our bride and groom will be available for you to capture. We are focusing on being inclusive and adding versatility to portfolios.
The details: We will be featuring both wedding ceremony and reception setups, both reflecting a classic and timeless wedding in very distinct ways.
The first a lush, refine approach with creamy, soft colors. The second an extravagant, stylish perspective showcasing vibrant spring tones.
Both with breathtaking floral designs and accompanied with beautifully designed, intentional and thoughtful details.
WHO?
Jeff Brummet Visuals will lead this shootout and assist with photography-related questions including shooting with film, metering, posing, etc.
Wedding Designers – Southern Affairs, Shamica & Co and Kelsey Williams Weddings have collaborated to create incredible designs for you to fill your portfolio with.
We will be hands on & interactive with our participants and will give pointers on styling, direction and offer a planner and designers viewpoint on essentials to creating a photo shoot that is feature worthy.
WHY?
If you’re a newbie this is the opportunity to build your portfolio. If you’re a professional but looking for something fresh to spark your creativity this is the place to do it!
Our shootout event will allow you to walk away with stunning imagery to strengthen your portfolio, as well as the opportunity to meet and network with local fellow photographers and creative professionals.
The photos you create from the shootout are 100% yours to use in your portfolio, marketing, or wherever. It’s time for #CommunityOverCompetition.
WHERE?
Will will email the exact shooting location and additional info once you sign up.
You must provide your own transportation, however we will create a private facebook group of attendees so you can connect with each other to carpool.
COST?
Tickets are for sale for photographers and videographers to attend! No experience required!
For $175 per attendee you can invest in your business and in turn attract more of your target clientele.
