For this month’s vendor spotlight, we spoke with Liz Vidrine, owner and founder of Loved and Found, a personalized gifting shop. Their custom, curated gift boxes not only contain the best products but are always packed to perfection.
The Interview:
Q: When and how did you get started in the wedding industry?
A: I opened my boutique gifting studio, Loved and Found in 2016 and we immediately found that our aesthetic was a natural fit for the wedding industry. Right from the start we found ourselves curating gifts for bridesmaid proposals, engagements and bridal party gifts. We also collaborate with wedding photographers and planners, helping them design custom client gifts that elevate their client experience.
Q: How far in advance should brides request your services?
A: I would recommend 4 weeks for Bridal Party Gifts and 1-2 months for Wedding Welcome Gifts, depending on the level of customization.
Q: Who is your ideal client? And why do you think clients book you over your competition?
A: Our ideal client would be someone who is all about the details! Our packaging and attention to detail is what sets us apart.
Q: What do you adore most about weddings?
A: Learning about the couple and how they choose to communicate their love story.
Q: How many weddings/clients do you take on a year?
A: Because we have such a variety of clients inside and outside of the wedding industry (and an online shop) it is really hard to say!
Q: What is something you would like clients to know about you that they cannot read on your website?
A: I have some seriously hard working people helping me behind the scenes. The amount of work and attention to detail it takes to make one of our boxes is more than you would think!
Q: What advice would you offer to our brides?
A: It is easy to get overwhelmed with all the details and forget to enjoy the process. Focus on the elements that are most important to you and your fiancé and if you can, delegate the rest!
Q: What is your go to hangout spot in Dallas?
A: I have a toddler so any place that has a good Happy Hour is key! We are currently always heading to Happy Hour at Hudson House for some oysters and bellinis.
Q: What is your signature cocktail?
A: I don’t have them very often but definitely a Kettle One dirty martini (no blue cheese in my olives please!)
