The wedding is over and you’re back from your honeymoon. Or maybe your big birthday bash just ended without a hitch. Now it’s time for you to open your gifts and get started on those tedious thank-you notes. But how long do you have to write your thank you cards?
Contrary to popular myth, you do not have a year’s grace period to get the notes written. All thank-you cards should be written and sent within three months of the receipt of the gift. If you can, write the response the same day you received the gift. If that is not possible, then try to write four or five notes a day instead of waiting to complete hundreds all at the last minute!
XOXO-
Robyne
