Having to drive several miles from the ceremony to the reception is one of the top complaints from wedding guests. Our rule of thumb is making both locations about 10 minutes away from each other. This allows time for traffic or anything else that may get in your guests’ way. If you have too much time in between, it can take away the celebratory mood from just witnessing your vows. The last thing you want is your guests coming to your reception in a grumpy mood! Keep the party alive with a short transit to the reception!
